Announcing “The Bank Roll,” a 13-Piece Indictment of the Fiat System
Today, we are releasing our most direct critique of the modern financial system to date. "The Bank Roll" is a new, 13-part art series that puts the mechanisms of fiat currency and central banking under a microscope.
Each piece is a visual essay, a "proof of work" designed to expose a specific flaw in the system that governs our lives—from the hidden tax of inflation to the illusion of privacy. This is our indictment of a system built on promises, not proof.
Below is the complete collection.
The "Bank Roll" Gallery
- Inflation: The hidden tax that drowns the saver while the architects of the system float above the damage.
- Fees: The slow, methodical erosion of your savings, fished out of your account by the institutions meant to protect it.
- The Debt Ride: The illusion of progress in a rigged race, where you do the work while the banker holds the reward just out of reach.
- State Collusion ("The Winner"): The unholy alliance where the financial system funds both sides of a conflict, ensuring the Bank always wins the war.
- Corruption ("Laundering"): A literal look at the hypocrisy of a system that demonizes financial privacy while enabling corruption at the highest levels.
- Systemic Risk ("Next Crisis"): The ticking time bomb of the global economy, where the powerful ride the bubble, pointing toward a future they know is unsustainable.
- The Wealth Gap: The Cantillon Effect in action—where the powerful hold back the public while enriching their inner circle.
- The Debt System: How the promise of a modern lifestyle is used to pack our lives with debt, weighing us down.
- The Student Debt Promise: The bait-and-switch of the educational-industrial complex, where students carry the weight of the system.
- The Privacy Illusion ("Open Doors"): In the traditional system, your data is the product, collected and sold without your consent.
- The Greenwashing Lie: The cynical performance of sustainability from the world's biggest polluters.
- The Time Bomb: A reminder that the debt-based system is fundamentally unsustainable and running on borrowed time.
- The Juggler's Bombs: The precarious and dangerous game of managing global fiat currencies, where a single drop could be catastrophic.
Over the coming weeks, we will do a deep dive into each of these themes on our blog and social channels. But the tools are available to you now.
Please note, three pieces from this broader commentary, "The Greenwashed Banker", “The Juggler” and “The Broken Standard" already do have their own dedicated entries.
